MiGO will be hosting their 2024 Winter Social fundraising event at the The Arbor Church in Spring Arbor, MI. This is an indoor event except for caching activities.

Registration:
In addition to your will attend log on the event page, every individual attending should be pre-registered using the Registration Page.  Attendees need to pre-register if a meal ticket is purchased.  Attendees who register will get a chance in a drawing for a special edition version of the WS24 GeoCoin.  The earlier you register, the more chances in the drawing.   Registrations give us a good idea of how many people to plan and set up for and how many packets to prepare.  Registration guarantees you will get the Registration Packet described below:
  • Event Attendee Packet for unregistered attendees, containing (no charge):
    • Crossword Game
    • Voting chips and instructions for the Gadget & Creative Cache Contest

  • Registration Packet (for pre-registered attendees:
    • Everything in the Attendee Packet
    • Early access to Sunday Cache List (maybe)
    • DNF Disappointment Wipes (tissues)
    • Fancy generic Finder Pen
    • Ticket for meal purchased.
    • Additional items (still a work in progress)

  • SWAG (preordered)
    • WS24 Geocoin pictured above.
    • Set of five WS Pathtags soon to be pictured above.

There are many hotels available on the west side of Jackson.  MiGO looked into getting a rate for a block of rooms.  The over-the-counter rates through on-line apps are better, so no block has been reserved.
